Purpose of practical assessment

UKG is an independent professional certification body. Each receiving organisation determines how it will use or recognise a credential under its own requirements. The task may require analysis, design, diagnosis, planning, documentation or a work product.

Rubric controls

Criteria

Named criteria describe what the assessor is judging.

Weight or marks

Each criterion receives a documented maximum score and/or weighting.

Critical criteria

Some criteria can be configured as critical, meaning failure can block certification even when the overall score is high.

Assessor records

Scores and comments are saved against the candidate submission and audit trail.

Consistency

Assessor guidance, calibration and second review should be used where scheme risk or complexity requires additional confidence.
