Terms governing the website, candidate portal and professional certification services.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms govern use of United Knowledge Group Ltd websites, portals and professional certification services. Company number 16959290. The contract information shown at checkout and the applicable certification scheme form part of the service description.
2. Nature of the service
United Knowledge Group provides private professional personnel-certification and related verification services. Certification is not guaranteed by payment, application, course attendance or examination attendance. A candidate must meet the active scheme requirements and receive a recorded certification decision.
3. No academic, regulatory or immigration promise
Credentials are professional certifications.UKG is an independent professional certification body. Each receiving organisation determines how it will use or recognise a credential under its own requirements. Acceptance and evidential weight are decided by the receiving organisation or competent authority.
4. Candidate information and evidence
You must provide information and documents that are accurate, lawful and not misleading. United Knowledge Group may request clarification or verification. Material fraud, impersonation or falsification may lead to refusal, suspension, withdrawal or revocation, subject to the applicable process.
5. Fees and pre-contract information
The price, currency, taxes where applicable, included service, scheduling rules and any disclosed retake or rescheduling charges are shown before payment. Where consumer law applies, statutory cancellation and refund rights are not removed by these terms.
6. Starting the service during a cancellation period
Where applicable law gives a cooling-off period and you ask United Knowledge Group to start a service during that period, the platform should obtain the required express request/consent before substantive service begins. If you later exercise a statutory cancellation right, any charge or refund is determined under applicable law and may reflect the proportion of the service already supplied.
7. Assessment and security
You must follow examination, identity, integrity and security rules. Secure examination content may not be copied, recorded, reconstructed, shared or published.
8. Certification decisions, status and appeals
Certification may be granted, refused, suspended, withdrawn, revoked or allowed to expire in accordance with the applicable scheme and policies. Eligible adverse decisions may be challenged through the published appeals process.
9. Intellectual property
Copyright and other rights in original scheme materials, question items, platform content and controlled documents remain with their lawful owner. Use of any certification mark is limited to the published mark-use rules and does not grant ownership of a trade mark.
10. Availability and liability
Reasonable steps are taken to maintain platform availability and security, but maintenance and external service interruptions may occur. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.
11. Changes
Material changes are version-controlled. The version accepted for a transaction or application remains part of that record where required for auditability.
12. Governing law and complaints
The governing law and forum applicable to a dispute may depend on mandatory consumer rules and the customer’s location. The complaints process remains available without removing statutory rights.
